Hi all,

I have 2 Dish 301 receivers in the same room that I am controlling with 2 different remotes, each remote controlling one specific receiver (this is possible after having changed the address (IR code) of one receiver).

I would like to know whether I can do better: use one remote to control both, for example can I program the VCR (or AUX) button to control the 2nd receiver?

I have tried the Dish Network remote codes which are listed in the following document to program the "VCR" button, but it did not work? [Link: x10.com]

Thank you in advance,

There are several remotes from 99$ on up. Find one with learning capablilites and learn the remotes as two different sources. The URC line would be good.
