Does anyone know if theres a manf. that makes a piece that would basically take a coax cable and seperate the audio & video? My problem is this tv has no audio out and were using basic cable (no box). We have a receiver and speakers that we would like to hook to an input on that receiver. Maybe I'm over thinking this. Thanks.

I'd recommend a VCR.
For $50 , it would be hard to find a seperate tuner only.

You will have to use the vcr to change channels.

You're not overthinking this (written by a guy who can always come up with the complicated answer). It just hasn't occurred to you for a while that the thing that separates audio and video is a tuner, and that VCRs have 'em.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
