This came to me in an advertising email. I hope none of you have been out there without it. Now you don't need to. I have no idea what this is about as I have never seen the problem, but, hey, here it is.
A quick fix to the download issue with the D10 Receiver losing its authorization for programming. (Error 722)
You will need to start by resetting the receiver by unplugging it, or pushing the red reset button by the access card. When the receiver comes up to the "hello" screen, using your remote press 0,2,4,6,8. After a few seconds the receiver will go to a new software menu, and download any new software. This takes several minutes. It is best to do this to all receivers, especially in a headend.
