Dishnetwork 310 pro. We have a local broadcast ant on roof and dish.Dishnet work works fine but local channels don't.Have rec.set to channel 3 output. We get 25,34,43 local channels fine but our local channels on 4,5,9 don't get off of the local ant.The installer used a spliter when he brough local ant in.In other words the dish and the lacal ant.are on a spliter going to the input of the dish reciever.

I suggest you go to "Edit post" and change the name of the thread to something like "What is correct hookup of this Dish Receiver" or "...of Dish 310 receiver?"

I will bet that a lot of people who have looked at this are DirecTV experts. If you put the Dish brand in the name of the thread, it will attract people who can answer you.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Need to no if the ant on the roof is UHF only or both VHF and UHF, the hookup sounds ok, and the ant sounds like UHF only.
