I hear you as I posted over a year ago and it was not taken well. The biggest complaint was USDTV is robbing available free channels from existing networks that would be available otherwise for free.
High Cable and Sat bills are hard to take when you go to
http://www.freeview.co.uk/ and see what the English are getting for free. Granted I can not tell from the URL if the free digital in England is HD quality or not. But I did look at some of what they are showing and was impressed.
I also find it interesting that if you look at the cost of "Analog" cable available from Adams and a few of the other smaller cable providers across the country their package costs $24.00/month for 63 channels while Basic Time Warner is $48.50 for up to 75 channels.
[Link: timewarnercable.com][Link: adamscable.com]But to get back on subject concerning ATSC OTA I have to agree with others that losing any free channels to USDTV would be upsetting. On the other hand if they put up their own towers and transmit on their own channels I do not have a problem,
