I just open up our first H20 receiver. There is a Zinwell convertor module that comes in the box. As far as I can tell this module needs to be installed in line to any MPEG 4 capable receiver for the Ka-lo band upconversion. I have a customer that is changing out his old Samsung HD receiver for a new one. I figured I would sell him the new H20 receiver so that when our area is able to use the MPEG 4 capabilities (2-3 months) I would be able to change out his dish, and multiswitch he would be ready to go. Is there any problems doing it this way? It looks like I would leave the converter module off for now, but install when we upgrade to the MPEG 4 system? I am a Directv dealer and I could call them for this info but trying to get help from them can be a little frustrating. Thanks

That would be fine. The H20 works with the old dish unless you want MPEG-4.
