Sometimes the simple jobs kick you in the butt!
Client has an LG plasma, added a direct tv H10 reciever in a closet, and wants to use the H10's remote to control volume of the TV.
I tried the 'code capture' method but, after pressing channel up for a 1/2 hour, I had to go. I never did see the light flash 3 times(the end of the codes?)
I need the rf for the sat due to the location of the reciever.
It's in the bedroom and they don't think an MX-350 with an mrf-250 is a cost-effective solution for a 'simple' set-up. They love the 850 in there theater because it switches all the inputs as needed but in this situation, all they need is volume and power! No input switching at all.
Has anyone had any success with this combo? Maybe a code I could input directly?
Thanks.
Mike

In addition to code 10856, try 10178.
