What do you suggest as the BEST set up for the following system need?

I have a sony SAT-A2 using a RM-Y130 remote. It has RF and IR capabilities. I got this because I have the receiver in the living room and often watch tv in the bedroom. This remote allows me to switch channels in the bedroom on the receiver in the living room. The problem is that I want to get a new sat-receiver that has TIVO built in. If I get a normal directv receiver with TIVO, what system will provide me the same ability? Also, budget is NOT a concern, so suggest AWAY, oh maybe a budget option as well as a couple of dream options!

Thanks!

If budget isn't a concern, get HDTVs and the HDTivo. Then the remote.

Then the remote.

I was ASSuming the first two items were already done...

Ditto.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I assumed that "normal directv receiver with TIVO" and "Sony A2" meant SDTV.

I still haven't seen any of his money to spend, though. Maybe in tomorrow's mail.

sorry, I've been away. I have regular DirecTV and the receiver. The reason is that I live in Mexico and can't get the High Def signal here. Some day hopefully. In the mean time, I'd still like a good remote system that will control the IR signal from another room. Suggestions are appreciated.

Any remote with an RF system should work. The MX-xxx series is great, mentioned above.
