Has anyone been having problems with the Direct TV 10-250 HD tivo unit? I have installed 17 unit the last 10 months Out of 17 units 12 were replaced Most of them either lost one of the two HD tuners or display please wait for ever. Other problems are picture black outs on some days you have a bad audio sync . Just curious

Ever been to the Tivo community? There're tons of threads about HDTivo problems there. In fact, there's a recent thread asking if anyone DIDN'T have any problems yet.
Most of the problems are HDMI failures. The next biggest is usually HDD, but that's pretty standard for DVRs in general.
It's been quite the mess, as your statistics indicate. More recent models should be better, but now they will be phased out soon for NDS boxes and MPEG4. If it wasn't for the combo: Tivo+HD....nobody would buy these things.
