I am using an indoor Nextech Antenna ( 1501880 - [Link: thesourcecc.com] ), and with it sitting on the window ledge, I am able to pull in

CBLT 5
CBLFT 25
CFTO 9
CITY 57

using a Samsung T-151. However, for some reason I can not pull in CKXT 52, 66-1 Sun TV. I would figure that since I can get CBC French, which is broadcasting at a lower kW than SunTV, I would be able to pull it in, but to no avail. Any ideas?

Also for anyone who cares, 40-1 is giving me 9-1 CTV, so PSIP is working fine again?

Yup, CTV's PSIP does seem to be working for a change. :-)

Sun TV's "effective" power output is probably actually less, since it takes more power at higher frequencies to go the same distance.

Also could be that your indoor antenna has poorer gain in the higher UHF frequencies, and Sun TV is pretty high.

You mean the program guide? I don't know, my current HDTV receiver doesn't use that. But I doubt it.

I was able to pull in the station tonight when I put the indoor antenna out on the roof and had it angled properly in the evening (past midnight). Then, I played around more and not only was able to pull in all of the Toronto stations, but with my cheasy $50 nextech antenna was able to get WNLO on 32-1,3 (CBS/UPN), WGRZ on 33-1,2, WKBW on 38-1, WIVB on 39-1 and WNED on 43-1,2,3. I played as much as I could to try to pull in WUTV on 14-1,2 but no avail. I didn't even try WNYB on 27-1. I did try to be greedy and see if I could get WHAM from Rochester on 59-1 but no luck. Was anyone able to get WHAM last night by the way?

CFTO/CTV does not have program guide right now, neither does WKBW/ABC. WGRZ have just implemented theirs a couple of weeks ago, I think it appeared around the same time as the new 2-2 weather channel.

On the subject of WGRZ, I've had very reliable reception lately, I guess since they went to full power. (Although it was probalby 85% reliable for me before) - need more time to be sure, but so far, so good.

I'm using Samsung T151 reciever.
