We have a DISH HDTV receiver, a Westinghouse 30 HD LCD TV, and a Samsung DVD/VDR player . . .

The DISH remote won't accept the TV code, so we have to turn the set on and off
and control volume with the Westinghouse remote, use the DISH remote to change channels and the Samsung to control the DVD/VCR.

We've run the "search" mode on the DISH remote, but it can't find the TV.
We tried a Harmony remote, but our computer would'nt cooperate . . .

We are lookin for a remote that can be totally "loaded" by transferring directly from each of the compenent remotes to the "new" remote . . .

ANy thoughts on what "techo=weenie" like me should buy and have the least problem with ??

Thanks much . . .

Well, if you really can't get the Harmony going, perhaps the MX-500 would work out better. Or one of its brethren.

Spikester's right...the MX-500 will meet your needs fine, and the price is right.

Good luck!
