hi,

i am looking for a remote control booster to boost the signal from my DV camcorders remote to my DV camcorder. i am wondering if a booster that works for TV/Satalite, would work with anything that works with IR, like my camcorder

also i would need it to be portable, eg. work with batteries

i would be grateful for any advice.

cheers
sean

do you know what power they consume? i was thinking i could run it off a battery.

also, because i won't be using it for a TV/Satalite, will this still be compatable with my DV camcorder remote signal? are there any issues i should be aware of?

thanks for your help.

cheers

Sorry, but the answer to that part is maybe. Odds are very good you won't have any compability issues, but that depends on the remote itself. There is always a chance it might not work. There's only one way to find out.
