Getting to the point, I have a really bad salesmen/designer that told a customer that we could control the zone 2 functions from a Dish 322 unit from a Elan Via which as you know is IR only. Does the zone 2 have any IR control capability? I was of the understanding that it was only UHF. Help!

Sorry, you are sol short of gluing a Dish RF remote to the VIA 6.4. The 2nd tuner on 322, 522, 942 is only RF. There is no way of controling it via ir.
