Just to let people know who own one of these units’s and are experiencing problems such as a constant reboot on certain channel’s…. almost like it’s locked up.
That it is crucial to update the firmware

The kit contains a cable and a cd with firmware for sir-t150,sir- t151,sir-k190,sir-t165/k165,sir-t351/k351 prl3100/k3100
It corrected the problem I had with mine

I see you claim this supports the SIR-T351 but Samsung site that you refer to does NOT mention this.

The receivers that I have listed in my previous post can be selected from a drop down menu within the flash program that was included on the CD.

You must first select the model that you are flashing and then select the directory where the firmware is located.

But after further revue I noticed that the only firmware (bin file) on the CD is for the Sir-t151.

I went there to see if they had any options for my SIR T100 which was behaving with the same systems.

I tried leaving an email with Samsung and when I hit send I got an auto reply that my T151 frimware upgrade package was on its way - Oh well - you got to love automated replies.

I had to contact tech support (level 2) several time before they sent my firmware upgrade so you may have to do the same.

I’ve seen in other forums that the firmware (bin file’s) for particular receivers are sent to you directly from Samsung via e-mail.

I’ve also seen some of the bin file’s floating around the internet.
As there seems to a lot of problem’s related to firmware and older units
