With my new HDTV set, I believe I'm seeing an on-demand signal that is being sent to someone else (neighbor, probably). Around channel 93-5 or so, Random movies sometimes appear. And most tell-tale of all, they will periodically be fast forwarded or rewound while I'm watching.

Anybody else seen this phenomena? I haven't yet signed up for either "digital cable" or "HDTV" from Comcast, but these unusual digital channels show up.

It sounds like you are getting ingress from another address. And it sounds like it is after there box, If someone close to you has a bad jumper from there box to there tv set it can leak signal and you are picking it up. If you are in an apartment or MDU it may be a wireing issue in the building.

Sounds like a wiring problem to me--Call Comcast, they will fix it--who knows what other problems it could be causing.
