I have a clint that has Direcway high speed, and wants HD. We thought that surley that new dish, that compares in size to a radio flyer wagon, would offer HD. NOT. So here is the thing, we stopped dealing in DSS a year ago, therefore we are cluless as to how we can make this work. The client has been on the phone with DirecTV and Direcway for hours, with only a promise they will call back. The client wants to use his current dish, and not have to add one. Is there a fix? It looks like the LNB on the end of the Direcway arm is removable. Thats all I have.

Yeah I have delt with these before.
I assume he already has a 'sat a' kit on the thing, then he obviously needs a 'sat b' and 'sat c' kit.
There exists an arm on which these two LNBs can be mounted, it comes in a kit that actually contains two arms (get this kit from perfect 10 or Direcway website), one is if you are using the directway sat at 99 and the other if it is at an alternate location (some of the early installs), it attatches to the three holes on the side of the boom and then with some adaptoirs (that are region specific) you install the LNB's, with the last kits I installed they supplied a standard dual LNB but did not supply the 'sat c' kit that we used to have to put on the non multiplexer integrated three lnb dishes that were being installed up till about two years ago (remember those kits).
So you need the Direcway kit with the two arms (only gonna use one), adaptors, and dual LNB as well as the old 'sat c' kit. Then study the manual on the arms, take a look on his computer setup which location he is pointing at, grab the correct arm and adaptors, get up on the dish, install it, come down and get pissed off that you have crappy signal strength.
After the customer complains about his HD signal going out at when the first cloud rolls in sell him a TRK26 and be done with it.
Be sure to have beers lined up, you'll want them afterward. Couple shots of jack would help too.
