Hello,
A friend of mine has a cable box with what appears to be a DVI output, but it is slightly different than a normal DVI jack. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about and if so, do you have a suggestion?
Thanks, Richard

Thanks for the reply. I looked at each picture and from what I understand, the horizontal pin on the left side of the plug is vertical on my friends cable box. He says that the rest of the plug looks very similar to a DVI plug. Any other ideas?
Thanks again

None. If it is verticle then it is not DVI.

My guess is a USB port. If you have a Scientific Atlanta cable box, go to this site and click on the Explorer eClub link and register to access the user guide for your model. They have all the connectors identified for every model. [Link: scientificatlanta.com]
