DigitalForm posted the following press release which no one has made mention of over here at Remote Central. I think this is the best thing that could have happened!!! this is great for those in Toronto as we will not have the ability to view all the NFL games in HDTV (Global HDTV - Toronto, CBS - Buffalo, FOX - Buffalo, NBC - Buffalo (Sunday Night Football) and CityTV (Monday Night Football)), making Toronto the only market in North America where all NFL games will be available OTA in HDTV...

Ya,
let me correct this as I have just found out from a NFL PR Dept statement that Digital Home was not 100% correct. What Digital Home failed to mention in their post was that it is a 1 Year ONLY deal for the forthcomming 2005-2006 season, and not the 2006-> forward season. Obviously the difference is this is the last year MNF will be airing on ABC, as it will be shifting to ESPN, while the Sunday Night ESPN game will be shifting to NBC. Thus, it will be essential to eventually recieve NBC, CBS, FOX from Buffalo for Football instead of ABC, CBS, FOX (although in 2 years, one would think that everyone would be broadcasting at Full Power out of Buffalo).
