I've got an Audiovox 20" LCD FPE2000

[Link: tinyurl.com]

and I was searching all over for a code. I found out afterwards how to do a code search on the Tivo Remote. I found the code around the 20 - 30th button press, I didn't count but it only took a few minutes to get to it. I do wish it was possible to find out the code so I could pass it on or just enter it directly using a four digit code.

[Link: customersupport.tivo.com]?

1.] Turn the TV on

2.] To search for a code to control TV Power and Volume: Hold down the TiVo and TV POWER buttons simultaneously until the red light on the remote control remains on.

3.] To search TV Power and Volume codes: Enter code 0999

4.] After you enter the code, the red light will flash three times and then remain on

5.] Press CHANNEL UP once every two seconds. This will test hundreds of codes, one by one.

6.] TV Power and Volume: If you press CHANNEL UP and your TV turns off, press ENTER to select the code.

I really wish these tv companies would start listing the "like" makes in the manual. Just my 2 cents.
It takes 2 to tango, but only one to be nice!,
