D. are you using a UHF/VHF combiner ? You don't want any VHF signal from UHF antennas messing up CFTO.Combine the uhf antennas then use UVJ to combine UHF and VHF ant. then into preamp.

I don't have a UVJ in the mix, I am just using a 4 output splitter to combine all my antennas, I will see about getting one.
Do you know a good place in Burlington to get one?

I think I might still put a low pass or band pass filter in the mix as well, though one thing at a time.

I just took a look, never thought of it before but I have the older CM7777, with dual input one UHF combined and one VHF.
I should be able to just feed my VHF antenna directly into that instead of combining it before with a UVJ, should I not?

D. if have dual input 7777 then just feed the vhf antenna directly ,no UVJ required.Set 7777 switch to separate inputs position.Switch inside.Set fm trap on also.

When WSEE-DT Erie moves to RF  on October 18, 2019, they will be moving to a new tower 2.3 km away with an increase ERP to 105 kW from 84.5 giving it the best coverage in the station's history.

CIYTY-2 WOODSTOCK staying on RF  rather than moving to RF ?

[Link: enterpriseefiling.fcc.gov]

Thanks for Rob for pointing this out; I couldn't find anything on the CRTC/FCC/IC websites but I put through an inquiry to I.C. and the FCC.

I can only speculate that because WNYO-DT was granted permission to move its RF  transmitter north to Grand Island, CITY-DT-2 was concerned with interference.

WNED's proposed Effective Radiated Power: 175.0 kW, down from proposed 345.0 kW; current 123.0 kW.

Obico WNYO RF 16 move to Grand Island with a directional antenna actually would have resulted in less interference to RF 16 Woodstock.WNYO current tower is using an Omni pattern and is on much higher ground. My understanding is CITY Woodstock has to apply to stay on Rf 31 and accept no protection.I do see the transition phases for City-DT2 Woodstock and WNED are not same time.Maybe they will change to RF 16 at a later date.

Hey OBICO!

Has WBBZ changed their ERP or whatever its called?
Because even my HD Homerun, which has a superior pair of tuners compared to my legacy MyHD MDP-130s can't grab it any more.

Yet, now I can get RF49, sometimes even on the 130 which means I've been able to view MyTV and CometTV now where I couldn't prior to September First.

Or am I just going through the proclivities of the Troposphere and that could change at any moment?

Rob...is WNYO-DT on RF 16 now? If so, I may have to re-scan the tuners and re-map the channels for the PVR software.

There has been no ERP change to WNYO-DT .

Just a reminder, when WNYO-DT switches to RF  in March 2020, it will be broadcasting from Grand Island (WUTV's former) in ATSC 3.0; WNYO's and WUTV's ATSC 1.0 will broadcast from WUTV's new (WIVB's former) Colden transmitter, transmitting by August 2019.

Thank You, but I was asking about WBBZ,RF7, as I've lost the signal.

Just did a web search and comparing Daniel's chart as he left it in November of 2016, compared to this;
[Link: nocable.org]

It looks like they've reduced power, so I may never get it again, meaning no H&I for Star Trek, No GL Buck Rodgers or Classic Battlestar Galactica,
which I prefer over Ron Moore's Boringstar Galactica, unless Mother Nature is kind and does something weather-wise for my antennae to pick it up.

:-(
No Svengoolie either, unless I can get permission to erect a 100 foot plus receiving tower,:p . Saturdays are going to suck now :(
