720i??? There is no 720i, don't you mean 720p?
Years from now, you might as well kiss recording OTA TV goodbye thanks to ATSC 3

Despite some rotor difficulties and a flakey HDTV receiver, I've tried to update the chart tonight. I was able to scan in:

2-1 (-2 -3)
3-1
4-1
5-1
6-1 (-2)
7-1 (-2 -3)
9-1
11-1
17-1 (-2)
19-1
23-1 (-2)
25-1
27-1 (-2)
28-1
29-1 (-2 -3)
35-1
36-1
40-1
41-1 (-2)
47-1
49-1 (-2 -3 -4)
57-1

This means I could use some current viewer reports on:

12-1 CHEX
13-1 CKCO
26-1 WNYB
51-1 WPXJ (my Sony DHG-HDD500 is incapable of receiving two stations that share either virtual or physical channel numbers - so once WNLO scans in as virtual 23-1, it doesn't look on real 23-1 to find that there's a 51-1!)
56-1 WBXZ
67-1 WBBZ

Plus any core GTA repeaters.

Also, 29's subchannels are showing standard 480i for me.

In the near future I will be moving 21 kilometres almost due north, which is going to affect my ability to receive television (and that's once I get a new tower put up). I have NO idea by how much... only possible bright spot is the new location is at 335 meters elevation, while my current one is 180 meters.

I see in your chart that you get 3-1 and 6-1. Not sure what these channels are as I am in Brampton, ON and get all the channels above, in the summer 51, 56 and 67 come in more often then in the winter. As for 12-1 CHEX 13-1 CKCO I don't get those channels.

3-1 is CKVR Barrie (CTV Two). 6-1 is a Global repeater in Paris.

Oh ok thanks. I wouldn't get those on my end unless I get a rotator. Mine is stationed to the south.

You can go to [Link: tvfool.com] and it should tell you what you should be able to get in your new location. All you need is your postal code or address.

3-1 could also be a Rochester channel. I have only gotten it once though. I have gotten 12-1 and 13-1 but its becoming very rare. Its weird how a small move can change your reception. I moved from the eastern side of my city to the North Western Side and just a small move like that totally changed my reception. I thought I was going to get the Toronto stations in better because I moved further north too but that didn't happen.

No virtual channel 3 in Rochester. There is a channel 3 (RF 24) WSTM-DT in Syracuse and WPSU (RF 15) in Clearfield, Pennsylvania; use to get it before CHCH switched to RF 15.

Thanks for your updates, Kevin!

I'm still seeing 29-2 and -3 as 480i though (as reported by receiver, versus definite 720p on -1). They may have changed the aspect ratio from 4x3 to 16x9 though.

CORRECTION:  WUTV Logo.png

After another telephone inquiry today, WUTV has confirmed their sub-channels 29-2 and 29-3 are in 480i.

WOW, I can't believe I actually received a Syracuse channel before? That's crazy considering I can't even get NBC in Buffalo, lol.

Its called Tropo. You will get the odd channels depending on the weather but the channel doesn't stay up long but enjoy it while its there. Usually at night time is when you can scan in some far away channels depending on the weather.

A meeting will take place at WUTV-DT Buffalo tomorrow.  Corporate will announce what (sub-)channel  TO BE DETREMINED  will air and when, and whether any of the existing sub-channels will be dropped.  I'm betting TBD will air on 29-2.
An announcement will be made later this week.  Stay tuned...
