That's great.

I usually get 51 and 67 in the evening or early in the morning only. The rest of the day the signal is too low. I only managed to get 56 one evening a few weeks ago, after that it won't come in. Still can't receive 2 (NBC) at all. Signal is in the 60's but I still don't get a picture. I have tried a pre-amp and it does boost the signal strength but I still get no picture. It's like someone or something is blocking it.

I'm not sure where your located but I can get WGRZ here in Brampton. I have my antenna on the roof hooked onto a 10 foot pole and don't have a Preamp, which I really should get lol, and I get channel 2.

I'm located in North St. Catharines. Saturday evening and Sunday morning I was able to get 3 channels (and their subchannels) from Rochester NY! I couldn't believe it. Last night I couldn't get them anymore though. Maybe it was just the way the wind was blowing? I have no idea but I thought it was so awesome! I was hoping I could get Rochester's NBC since I still can't get it from Buffalo but no such luck.....

I don't have my antenna pointed towards Rochester at all, it's pointed directly towards Buffalo. Just thought I would share, not sure if anyone else has ever gotten Rochester before. I was able to get their FOX, PBS, and CBS channels.

You would have a better chance then me since your closer to the US boarder. I am in Brampton so I would have zero chance of getting Rochester. You will notice that in the Summer, you will start getting those channels that are boarder line signal strength then in the winter, I believe it has something to do with the weather. In the summer I get WBXZ and ION stations more often then winter and normally at night time.

Bell Media declines to renew its broadcast licence for many of their analogue CTV and CTV TWO transmitters across Canada.  Their current licence will expire August 2017.  In southern Ontario they include:

CKVR-TV-1   Parry Sound   .12.
.
CJOH-TV-6   Deseronto      .6.
.
CJOH-TV-8   Cornwall        .8.
.
CKNX-TV      Wingham       .8.

The One Seneca Tower, which houses the transmitters for WBXZ-LP and 2 relay FM transmitters, will be empty by mid September and then sold.  One proposal is to raise the building which would require Steven Ritchie (owner WBXZ) to find a new transmitter site, costing him more money on top of the problems he is having now with his existing transmitter.  Maybe a new transmitter site would help reception, but transmitter technical parameters including site can not be changed until the FCC TV frequency allocation has been completed, which could take some time pending on how the reverse/forward auction goes.

Nexstar Media general is one step closer of becoming the new owners of WIVB-DT and WNLO-DT Buffalo.  The U.S. Department of Justice has given its approval with their condition of sale of seven stations.
Good news is that N.M.G. is likely to add sub-channels to at least one of their Buffalo stations  But it is not publically known if the current owners, LIN Media, committed one of their Buffalo stations, probably WNLO on RF 32, to the FCC Reverse Auction.  If this was the case then both WNLO and WIVB would both broadcast on the same frequency with their I.D. virtual numbers remaining through the new ASTC 3.0 technology.  But the question of the location of the transmitter remains.

Analogue CJOH-TV-6 Deseronto coming in black and white with audio in Western Toronto today, unfortunately programming doesn't differ than that of CFTO now a days.

Anyone know if 56 CoziTV has upped their signal strength or moved their antenna? I heard it had to be moved from where it was but last night I was getting 100% signal which has never happened - usually I don't get it at all!

I was also getting 67 MeTV at 100%. Did this one move too? It has never happened, even on a clear night, usually its very spotty.

I was getting Rochester last night too so maybe it was just a really really clear night with good conditions? Weird because Toronto stations were not as strong.

When a broadcast station cannot operate in accordance with its license due to equipment failure, damage to licensed transmission systems, or other causes, the station may request an Special Temporary Authority.  [Link: fcc.gov]

•Until the conversion to digital TV broadcasting and repacking are complete, the Commission is not accepting applications for new television stations.  Applications to change the parameters (i.e. antenna height, location and strength (ERP) will also not be accepted until that date.  In the unlikely event that One Seneca Tower, which houses WBXZ's antenna tower, is torn down, the transmitter/tower would come down without a replacement and WBXZ would be off the air.  The close of the sale of the tower is expected in mid-October.

It is autumn and signals will carry differently at this time of year; expect more of this until the cold winter.

The sale of ONE SENECA Tower has closed, construction (inside) will begin in six months.

No alterations to the transmitter tower of WBXZ-LP which stands on top of the building is expected.

Okay, WUTV has improved their sub-channels 29-2 and 29-3 from 480i to 720i.  But please note their new station id for 29-2 The Country Network is their sister stations WLFL 22-2 (Raleigh) old station id which is now American Sports Network.  They will correct this soon.

On May 20, 2013, Zuus Media announced its acquisition of The Country Network. On June 1, 2013, Zuus Media announced the rebranding as Zuus Country.  Zuus Country lost many of its Sinclair affiliates on October 31, 2015, the day that Sinclair's joint venture network with MGM Television, the sci-fi-centric Comet, launched.
In January 2016, the network announced that it would break away from Zuus Media & under new ownership on January 29, 2016, Zuus Country was rebranded & shifted back to The Country Network, reviving its original name & logo for the revival of the network. - wikipedia

29-2 Station I.D. has been corrected this morning.  WUTV, along with other Sinclair stations, moved to their new hub in Dayton last week, hence the error.
