It looks like GetTV on 49.2 move to 49.4 to make room for ASN. Channel 49 should now list the following in the channel map:
49.1 - MyTV - WNYO-DT 49.2 - ASN - WNYO-DT2 49.3 - CometTV - WNYO-DT3 49.4 - GetTV - WNYO-DT4

Did anybody witness an amber alert on Canadian broadcast stations (over-the-air) Sunday night? [Link: news.gc.ca]Yup, and it wasn't well received. I saw posted elsewhere that people as far as Ottawa were getting the on screen message.

Did anyone lose Channel 49 this morning? Located in Brampton, ON and seems to be the only station that I am not receiving.

I'm in Welland and haven't received it in over a year, but my "Flying Saucer" got tilted in the wind and maybe someone needs to shuffle up there and straighten it out. Then last Saturday I missed my Sci-Fi-night on MeTV but that may have been ionosphere/weather related.

I am located in Amherst, NY the and I am able able to pick up CJMT channel 40 Omni 2, but have had no luck receiving receiving CITY or CFMT. It appears that they all transmit from the same location according to the TV Fool website. Just wondering if anyone in WNY has had any luck with these stations?

These three postings on WBXZ-DT-56 RF-17 Facebook page:
We had a transmitter failure. We must order a new part, in the meantime, we are operating at a greatly reduced power. We will keep you updated as repairs are made. It may take several days. -- March 27
Well, if transmitter problems weren't enough, high winds have knocked off our Cozi feed. We will fix the feed when winds allow us access. -- March 28
A soft launch of Heartland is available on 56.6. We are testing the signal and working out the bugs. Also thank you for your patience with COZI as we had issues with it over the last few days. The Retro signal has been somewhat jittery and once we get the new equipment up and running that should be gone. We will be adding BUZZR soon and are awaiting the final word on MOVIES!. -- March 22

Anyone having major issues receiving any signals right now? I'm only able to get the CW and PBS from Grand Island. I'm in North St. Catharines. I changed nothing to my setup so I have no idea what's going on. It was working fine as of 3 am this morning.....anyone else having issues?

I went on the roof last evening with the help of my father-in-law. He made sure everything was tight then I did a re-scan and everything was good again. I still can't get NBC for some reason but I couldn't get it before either. I just moved to another part of the city so I was hoping I would get better reception but I lost NBC and MeTV (which only came in sometimes at my old place). I do get ION in the evenings now though but there isn't much on those channels.

I was just wondering if you have a Preamp attached to the antenna. It helps do get those weaker signals.

No, I don't have a pre-amp. I disconnected the splitter that the installer put up there. Now I get every channel except for NBC for some reason.

If your getting Weaker signal then you will need to put a preamp at the antenna, the longer the cable runs through the house you loose signal. Sometimes moving the antenna around or putting it up higher as you can will work as well but you should always have a preamp.
