The PSIP information for WKBW 7-2 (LAFF) and 7-3 (ESCAPE) is temporarily not available due to technical problems; they are working on it.

Hi Daniel,
7.2 LAFF TV and 7.3 Escape TV at 480p These are mostly older shows and movies. The signal seems fairly strong in Toronto from Buffalo.

Anyone know when or if the program information issue is going to be corrected? Right now I'm getting "regular scheduled programming" from LAFF and "Unknown Event" from Escape......

As of 18:00 today, WKBW Engineering believes that it is the box the signal runs through and is somehow losing programming information; 'still trying to get resolved'.

Thanks for looking into it! I hope it gets resolved soon.
They said Night Court was going to be on, but I don't see it in any online guides yet for LAFF.....hopefully that changes when the guide comes back so I can PVR it.

Engineering is continuously looking into this. They have contacted the software company again this morning (I'm not at liberty to mention the company name) but the word 'frustrating' is the word WKBW used.

Laff Tv does not have the rights to "Night Court' until the end of the year.

Reception Alert: Heat Warning in effect for Southern Ontario this weekend. With the overnight lows reaching no lower than 20 degrees Celsius Saturday night, this could cause for some great distant reception. The high humidity, especially during the day could have a negative effect on normal reception though. [Link: weather.gc.ca]

Is anyone having problems watching CKVP 42 Fonthill and CHCJ 35 Hamilton? The picture breaks up and the sound cuts out, but the signal stregnth on my TV is around 90-95% I have a rotary antenna on a 35 foot tower. The channel is simply unwatchable. I'm not having problems picking up any other stations, in fact, I can get WBXZ just fine!

Just to let you know, the actual physical channel for CHCH-DT [11] Hamilton is 15-3 not 15-1 as indicated in RABBIT EARS [Link: rabbitears.info]...which is odd because the FCC/I.C. requirement for the additional guard is no longer in effect.

Hi. Anyone else pick up a new substation on 49.3 called CometTV? It's hit and miss for me so not sure if it is just testing or permanent yet.
