I recently have been experimenting with the cable box hook-ups.
Have a General Inst. digital box supplied by ATT. I took the audio out connections to tv then out to amp, and the video out to the tv using an audio coax cable. I can definetly hear a difference with sound, and have better volume adjustments. I'm not sure yet if I see a better picture.
What is the better cable, Tv, or audio coaxial w/RCA connections?
If possible bypass the TV as your amplifier might pick up the garbage the televisions volume attenuator sends out. Using the TV for the video is ok but, usually much cleaner audio going directly from the cable or a sat box RCA audio output jacks or fiber optic TOS link if possible.
