I have a SA-3100 HD cable box. I also have a Tivo, so I leave the box ON all the time so Tivo can control it. On several occasions I have noticed that the box has turned off. At first I thought it was a power problem, so I put a UPS on the box. This did not help.
I have talked to several friends who have the same box (and Tivo) they have the same problem with the box turning itself off (I think on the same day).
Any ideas why?
Work around for Tivo problem (If I am away I can loose a lot of scheduled programs with the box off)?

It shuts down everytime it downloads new software.

I found an option in setup for box power on time. There is an option "Every week day" or "Every Weekend". Anyone know how to select both or EVERYDAY?
