Hi. Recently, TWC of NYC started offering HD boxes in Staten Island, NY... I got it installed last week and it works great (well, the box rebooted twice on me, but I realise it's still a testing phase). It seems to me that they have HBO, Showtime, NBC, Fox, ABC, UPN and PBS available at this time. I'm wondering why CBS is not available. Are they not broadcasting in HD? And I do hope HDNet and Discovery HD will become available too soon... Any ideas? Thanks.
Peter

I think some of the cable companies have had some trouble getting the contracts signed with CBS. Don't remember what the hanging points were.
Comcast in Nashville has just started HD service and they are carrying the local CBS station in HD.

Not in Staten Island (I guess they might just call themselves TWC, but they still rather separate company). 702 is Showtime... Peter
P.S. Not that I complain... I enjoy PBS out of Newark, NJ, the quality is great...
