Hi there,

Just bought this remote to clear out the 20 million or so that are lying around the front room ! ANyhows I can get the TV and Video setup but it will not control my NTL box model Pace NTLDi4001N or my amd Yamaha VS-10.

Any ideas what the codes are for these items so I can get them programmed ?

Also should mention that I tried downloading the sound from the web page but it doesn't seem to be accepted by the remote i.e. it doesn't blink or come out of upgrade mode despite trying many different speaker combinations.

Thanks
Mully

Are you in a former Cable and Wireless franchise area?

If you are (or indeed a Telewest Active Digital customer) the boxes utalise IRDA (not IR) which means that the "One For All" remotes don't work them.

IIRC there was/is a thread (probably under the "Telewest Active Digital" title running in the One For All section.

I was in an original ntl area last year and the supplied remote struggled to control the STB and the picture was ropey (at best) or lego-like (at worst). I'm glad i switched to Freeview.

Dunno about the Amp. Try calling One For All cutomer services (freefone number, but there ringing tone is simaler the UK engaged tone - the call is routed to the Netherlands) and they might be able to help further.

The Internet upgrade crashed my remote and OFA talked me thorough resetting it, and then upgraded it over the phone (Pioneer Freeview box).
