I was looking at my local Best Buy yesterday, and notice the Samsung SIR TS160 is finally available. Has anyone had a chance to compare this box with the Hughes E86? Or perhaps know of any reviews? I'm looking for both off-air digital and DirecTV performance, I don't much care about analog signals any more.

If you have plenty of time, check out this thread on AVS Forum for the Samsung 160. It's got about 450 posts, so plan on spending some time!!

Long story short, like all new STB's, it has a few glitches, but it's amazing how responsive Samsung is being in fixing these ASAP. I bought the 160 yesterday on an impulse just to see how good it is, and so far it looks pretty good.
