Hi,

I currently have a Hughes HD box which I have had for a year, and the oval dish has 2 LNB's. I get my locals via an OTA antennae, and I don't have Showtime. I am moving shortly and taking advantage of the DirecTV moving package where for $12.95, the give you a new dish and installation. Do I need or should I ask for 3 LNB's for future needs, or are the 2 LNB's adequate?

Thanks,

Noah

noah,

you will need the 3rd lnb if you want showtime and any future channels. keep in mind they will probably charge extra for it.

No extra charge for the HD Programming, you will obviously have to purchase the hardware. The third LNB (satelite) is indeed for future HD programming.
