Hey, I'd like to know about that too! I like to keep up.
Enter SOAPBOX MODE: PLEASE SUPPLY ENOUGH INFORMATION IN YOUR QUESTION FOR US TO BE ABLE TO HELP, OR IN THIS CASE, TO BE ABLE TO SEARCH AND FIND WHAT INFORMATION THERE MIGHT BE ABOUT THIS ON THE INTERNET !! !! A google search and a yahoo search for "TW Movies On Demand" gave zero responses. Since "TW" is in thousands of domain names, a search for "TW Movies" or "TW" gives thousands of irrelevant responses.
Exit SOAPBOX MODE. Steve, what the heck are you talking about?

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything. "The biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place." -- G. “Bernie” Shaw |

I think Steve is wondering if he'll be able to pause, rewind, and fast forward movies when he buys a movie on demand from Time Warner cable.

Steve, Yes, you can pause, rewind, fast forward, stop, and watch the movie over and over as many times as you want, or can, in the playback window. Here in MN, we have a 24 hour window from the time you buy it. Not sure what you have in NC. But yeah, it's just like a DVR, except that it's not stored on your box locally.

Here in NYC channel 200 is HBO in Demand anyone now anything about that? In Demand Works great just like a DVD without the 5.1 and Wide Screen.

So, you mean they do not give you Dolby Digital 5.1 sound in NYC. I meant to try this last week, but did not have time. It's on channel 1000 on Staten Island TWC. If there is not digital sound (I can sometimes live with 4:3 version), they are not getting my money... I'll still go to Blockbuster for DVDs.

What I was wondering is if the movie is stored on the cable box like a DVR does, not if you could "rewind/fastforward" it- I knew that...

No, the movie is not stored on your cable box. It's streamed from the cable office, and you're essentially controlling it via remote.
