I have 4 of the Explorer 3100HD's, and can't wait to get my greedy little paws on an 8000 or two. The 3100HD with the latest update is like night and day compared to a 2000HD.

The 8000's aren't available in NYC yet. We did just get Movie on Demand though.

8000's are delayed here too, they're hoping to get them out by the beginning of the year. MOD is great, but no HDMOD is planned as of yet. We're trying out subscription on demand right now, but I've played around with it a bit and there isn't really anything good on it. Last year's Sopranos...already have it on DVD.

I'll have to see if I can get in line for one of those 8000s :-)

YIPPEE!!!
I finally got my appointment for TWC in NYC to drop off my new SA 3100HD box. It will hook up to a Pioneer Elite 510HD and I just can't wait! :)

But, the fairly gruff operator at TWC did not know and could not tell me how to find what channels TWC in NYC broadcasts in HD. Does anyone know?

Did you read the posts? All the channels are listed in the guide starting with 701 HBO.

Here in MN we have dedicated people that ONLY handle HD clients. Not sure about other divisions, but we're definitely in the game here. If only there was more network HD programming.
