I got a multiswitch to help distribute sat signal to 3 receivers. There are 3 inputs on the multiswitch, ant, LNB A 13/14 V, and LNB B 17/18 V. My question is how do I know which incoming sat line to hook up to LNB A and LNB B? I can't see any label on the satellite itself. Thanks in advance for any help.

Tyler,

If you don't get an answer shortly, I would suggest you go to www.avsforum.com and see if you can find a thread which answers your question.

Tyler it works like this:

With a single receiver per LNB output, the receiver passes one voltage or the other to the LNB, depending upon even or odd channel number.

The multi-switch permanently sets one LNB to evens, and the other to odds. Then each receiver is switched to one LNB or the other (within the multi-switch), depending upon the channel selected.

The antenna input is simply "piggy-backed" on all outputs, like a diplexer does, so a diplexer can "extract" the antenna signal at any output.
