I have a Misubishi HD 400 receiver fed the the digital audio input a B&K ref 30 preamp. When I am watching a HD channel and switch to another HD channel I get a POP noise out of the right speaker only. this happens when the audio is fed through the B&K. When switching from channel to channel in analog there is no pop. Any suggestions what is causing this? thanks

sounds like a switching problem maybe their digital feed getting turned on and off when you change, hmmm just the right ? ummm is your sub mono ? and mono out from the p-amp ? (note most not all but most low freq. stereo doesn't matter.) Although we have been getting some great results using two subs in the theater's with different but slightly overlapping slopes.

HEY DON,

I had a similar situtation except is was on all channels. DTV RCA DTC-100 optical out through a Pioneer 850 receiver. I changed receivers to a Denon 5803 and no more popping. I didn't change receivers because of this. It took a day or so to realize it had gone away because I was so use to it. :)
