Does anyone here have timewarnercable and thier HD settopbox? Do you get local channels in HD?
does the settopbox recieve offair digital broadcasts?

As I understand it, you will only get HD on the channels (programs) that are broadcast in HD.

In NYC you get a few channels in the 700's. 701 HBO, 702 CBS, 703 I think is Showtime, 704 Is NBC but very little is broadcast, 705 fox but same as NBC, 707 ABC...

for a will they were broadcasting CBS and NBC in the clear but i believe that has ended. These were in the UHF FREQUENCIES.
