With Digital Broadcasts becoming more popular over here I am interested to find out so info on the Specs at which HDTV is broadcast. Is it 1080i lines at 50Hertz or 60Hertz. As there is only 1 company making a HDTV set top box it is difficult to find any info at all.
The companies making Set top boxes are Thomson (from europe) Teac, (which is appalling) and DGTEC,which is the only HDTV capable box.

If anyone can supply info on this or can tell me where to get the info it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Stephen.

It is 1080i 50Hz. Also Australia uses CODFM not ATSC as in the US.
