I have read several threads on this board relating to the RCA vs Sony for HDTV. Not clear to me that there is a clear cut winner. Does anyone have any insight to when the next gen receivers will be available?

Are you a Direct TV sub? or Dish Network?
Or are just shopping around for satellite TV?

I am a Direct TV subscriber. I am purchasing a projector and want to move up to HDTV & local channels.
