I have heard you can switch the Sony SAT-B55 (RM-Y139) to use alternative IR codes.(like the Sony VCRs VCR1,VCR2,VCR3) Any one know how?
Problem is I have 2 B55 DirecTV boxes and a Sony SAT60 DirecTivo in the same room. They all receive the channel change requests.

The B-55 can be set for RF or IF operation - I don't think it's possible to change the codes themselves - and RF isn't going to do you much good unless your remote will do FR (or can be modified to do so).
