I have an RCA DRD480RE DirecTV receiver connected to a Sony TV. After programming the remote with the code for Sonys, everything works right except the "input" button will not control the input source on the TV. I have an RCA DRD420RE receiver connected to another Sony TV and the input button works fine (on both Sony TVs). RCA support has not been helpful, and said it is OK for two different products to work differently. Any ideas?

Is there another button that controls "input"? Sometimes button mapping on universal remotes is poor.
It doesn't matter what receivers you have, are the remotes the same?

The input button doesn't work on the sony tv's. Sorry
