Currently my wife and I are residing in an apartment while our house is being built and we are stuck with cable for now. The STB is a GI 1200 series. Previously I had a Dish network 4720 with digital outputs. The cable box indicates that it supports dobly digital, but the only outputs are the standard L/R/V and a coax out(a normal coax connection). My reciever has a digital coax input, but it is a RCA type connection. Am I missing something or do I just need to wait until my house is finished to enjoy decent sound again?

Sadly, Cling, the box you have won't give you any more than DPL. : - (
