I have a Mit WS65807 TV and have been having trouble getting it properly adjusted. I had a service technician there today making adjustments using the service menu. He had mentioned that there are "overlays" that can be found on the internet that lay over the screen and allow you to adjust the convergence perfectly. Does anyone know where I can find more information related to this. I would also need to know the commands to move around the service menu on the TV. The adjustments that he was making were not hard but were quite time consuming. They have been out several times and this is the first person that seemed to have any clue how to adjust it. At this point I would like to just take care of it myself. I would appreciate any input.

Thanks,

Kris

It's all explained at http://www.HomeTheaterSPot.com

Read the section titled "Geometry" in this thread: [Link: hometheaterspot.com]

The service menu codes are listed here:

I recommend you purchase a service manual from Mitsubishi (search around the SPot forum and you will find out how).

If you have any questions, please feel free to post them at the SPot.

Steve

That is the site I used to update mine, the overlays you speak of I do believe is for Geometry not convergence. The Spot will show you ways to better adjust convergence and also how to do manual and electrostatic focus

Thanks for the info. I checked out the site and got all the info I needed and then some. Matt, you are correct, I was interested in correcting the geometry vs. only convergence adjustments.
