I have a DSR-6000 in my living room and I'd like to be able to watch it in my bedroom. I'd still like to access all my tivo functions remotely. I know I'd have to watch the same signal on both TVs, and that's OK, I don't want to spring for a second reciever. What would be a good way of setting this up? This would be a satellite signal only setup, since I can recieve my locals on the dish I've bid farewell to AT&T and their so-called "digital cable". :)
Thank in advance,
Phil

One way to accomplish this is to run a coax cable from the ant. out connector on the back of the DSR 6000 to the ant. connector on the back of the TV in your bedroom. This will let you watch the same channnel in both rooms. To control the DSR6000 from the bedroom you will need a remote control extender avaliable from places like Radio Shack or WallMart. If you don't want to run a coax cable to your bedroom there are wireless solutions but I have never used them before so I don't know how well they work.

Try the Terk Leapfrog System. I have it set up to do the exact same thing you are trying to do. This system works over the phone line and will send the audio/video as well as allow you to control the TiVo unit. Works like a champ!

The "best" way to do it is with a modulator, and a hardwired IR system. Check out this link for info on the modulator.
