My dish network 6000 remote won't operate my Toshiba 61H70 HDTV. I tried all toshiba codes as well as the scanning technique without success.
Does anyone know a trick to get it to work, or another universal remote that will work for both? I'd like to stay under $80. Jensen SC-595 looks intriging because it's UHF (like the DN 6000), but I don't know if it will directly operate the 6000.

Look for pronto 1000 (inexpensive), in my experience, there is nothing better and easier to setup and operate.
