I am thinking of having a roof-mounted antenna installed so that I can get HD signals off the air. Does anyone know whether the antenna rotors available these days come with infrared remote control? I'd like to be able to have my ProntoPro do all of the "heavy lifting" when it comes to tuning in signals from different source points. Thank you.

I was checking this out about a year ago. Do a search for "antenna rotors", you should find the same manufacturers that I did then. I remember that higher end models had IR remotes.

I did just what you are talking about.
the rotor controller that i use is infared remote controled. it is the Channel Master 9512 and it can be had for about $100-$130

Thank you for the replies. The Channel Master unit does seem to be the most popular. I also discovered that these units are often referred to as "rotators" as well as "rotors," so that might help others doing a search. Thanks again; this Web site has got to be the best thing to come along since sliced bread.
