Does anyone have any idea why after replacing my RCA DC100 HD sat reciever with a Sony HD Reciever the image is shifted to the right ? I'm using the RGB/VGA connections.

I have installed the HD100 with a Sony 42" plasma,a 50" Marantz plasma,a 57"Sony XBR rear projection set,and I have gotten the same result as you have.However, I have installed it with a Dwin CRT projector and after it was calibrated by our tech,the picture fills the screen.I asked our Sony rep about this problem and he was going to get back to me about this..........

Thanks for the reply, I'm pretty sure it's a Sony problem because I removed the Sat 100 and reinstalled the DTC 100 and it is centered again. The problem is the Pioneer won't let me adjust the RGB input to the left. I'm wondering if there might be a service menu I can access on the Pioneer or the Sony ?

I am thinking about changing out my DTC100 with the Sony receiver and I own A Pioneer 510HD elite. Were you able to get a resove of the positioning issue? Also does the Sony have the ability to auto detect the HD signal and put it through the component output without having to manually switch like the RCA/

and yes the sony toggles through 3 outputs before you get to the hd , for now I'm using the rca. May return the sony because of these issues . :-( Bummer because I like Sony.
