My Seiki SC324FB just stopped responding to its dedicated remote. I've changed the batteries and unplugged the TV, to no avail.

Are there any generic remotes I can pick up locally that will operate that TV? I only need the half a dozen basic functions. I know I can buy a new replacement on eBay for under $13, but I live in a metropolitan area and can drive to any local chain's store in under ten minutes.

FWIW, I have some DirecTV remotes but I'm not a DirecTV customer any longer so I can't make their remotes set-up screen appear on anything. I also have a bunch of Access HD programmable remotes.

3. enter 1 0 1 7 8

Access HD remote:

On the Access HD remote, if you want to use the STB device for say a cable box, you first have to unlock the device:

1. STB
2. press and hold SETUP, wait for two blinks, release
3. enter 9 8 2, wait for 4 blinks

Now program for a cable box?
