New here, so if there's a better forum for this, please let me know.
I have a Marantz SR7000 receiver with the accompanying RC7000 remote. We upgraded to the mini-Genie system through DirecTV recently. Our TV is connected to the SR7000 through the DVD input. Since the upgrade, the remote no longer controls the volume of the TV. It controls the volume for the tuner (that's the only other audio source we have connected right now), and all other functions appear to work.
Can anyone help?
Thanks, Ken

- When you talk about controlling the "TV's" volume, are you referring to controlling the actual TV's built-in volume for its speakers, or something with the SR7000?
- How exactly were you controlling it before?
- What's the make and model of your TV?
- Besides changing your DirecTV system, how else did your system wiring change?
