I am a senior citizen that is not very computer savvy. I just bought my invalid mother a Living Solutions jumbo TV remote at a garage sale, no manual, of course. All the back says is "Living Solutions, A17G0891, URC, Made in China." My father tried programming it without any codes, using the 3-4 steps instructions I found on a couple of sites, but it wouldn't work; all he could do is turn the TV on and off. He said it is because he needs to be able to program it to work through/with his DVR? He has a Samsung 48" flatscreen TV. Can you provide the necessary codes and instructions of how to use them, or tell me how to obtain a manual for the remote? Thank you so much.

As mentioned here, the only Living Solutions manual that I know of (Colossal 3-in-1) is to be found in the RC files section. The codes for the TV may work, but if your parents watch TV via the DVR, I fear you'll be out of luck. I'm not aware of any jumbo remote that presently includes the option of preprogrammed PVR/DVR codes.

Thank you very much for your reply. I just went to the RC files site to download the manual for the Colossal 3-in-1 remote control. When I tried to download the manual, I got a message saying manual not found. Is there another place I can try and download it from?

Strange?

I never gave it a thought at the time, but if you follow the link/s in my previous post you enter the old files section. This link is to the new files section, but both work okay for me.
