Hi all,
I just located a Harman Kardon TC1000, model number H9198. The remote did not come with a installable copy of the software. I rescued the unit from an electronic recycle place.
I need the software to make it work.
Thank you for your time and patience.

Thanx for the pointer!
I've downloaded the file ( I think I actually downloaded this before I asked for help, but didn't realize I shouldn't need anything else).
Ok, so I'm still having some problems. First of all, I'm running Linux. Will this unit work with Linux? When I plug the unit in, the unit says "synchonizing" and asks me to start the TC1000 software on my computer which I do, but I'm told that I already have the upgrade applied. But that's it.
The software quits, and the unit does not show up where my various storages drives are located. So I can't access the unit. I'm thinking it might be better if I install Windows 98 as a virtual machine and try the software from there.
I'll try that and report back.
