Okay, I have read alot on these forums and still can't get my Emerson tv to work with this remote. I see that there are several different remotes that fall under this model number, I have the one with the power button in the upper right and the code search in the upper left corner. It has blue number keys and the code in the battery slot is cl034. I have tried the code search function, I have manually entered every Emerson tv code, I have also done the 'learn' function. It 'learned' 080 and then the light went out altogether and wouldn't give me a 4th code number. So I tried entering 0801, 0802, 0803, ect up to 0809 and nothing works. It says on the manual front cover that it is guaranteed to work, yet I have seen several posts here (and elsewhere) of people having problems with this remote and Emerson tv's. Anyone have a solution?
